I absolutely love fall. I love everything about it...especially fall in South Texas...which is usually HOT! But, mostly, I love pumpkins. Pumpkins have held a special place in my heart since October of 2001...when we welcomed our first child into the world 11 days before Halloween. Priya's first birthday party was even a pumpkin theme...and we have called her our little pumpkin ever since.
We visit the Love Creek Orchard Pumpkin Patch yearly (and will be doing that soon), but somehow I find it impossible to pass up a pumpkin patch of any kind. Imagine my delight when one of the churches in our quaint little town of Boerne set up a cute little pumpkin patch for us to explore yesterday after church. The kids each picked out their little pumpkins with such care. We can't wait to visit the BIG patch in Medina, TX.
Our 3 little pumpkins...uh...Indians.
So, stay tuned for more fun in the pumpkin patch. October has just begun...who knows how many more we may encounter before the month is over?

The girls can't wait to go there. It's so pretty.
Everytime we pass the pumpkin patch, which is so often since it's right in the MIDDLE of town, the boys scream.....PUMPKINS!!! it's so nice, to have something like that so close to us...
