Any Dr. Seuss fans out there? That's where the title of this post comes from, in case you're wondering....
Sunday afternoon we headed to the beautiful park & river conveniently located in our neighborhood. What fun we had with our friends picnic-ing & fishing. We're not really fisher-people, but the kids really enjoyed themselves, and I think Animesh would have fished until he caught something--no matter how long it took.
Peek-a-boo through the sunroof. No, the car wasn't moving.
Our fearless social planner, Angelia. She organized this great gathering...and I couldn't have planned those sunbeams on her angelic face any better if I tried. We followed her to the picnic spot she chose.
Over the river and through the woods...uh, Angelia, where are we GOING?!
Piggyback ride from Mom.
Trevor's pre-fishing ritual, I guess. Sure kept those fish away.
Heading to the river for some fishin'.
"So, Dad, how long is this gonna take?" Mr. Impatient actually fished the longest...and while Deven didn't catch anything, he sure had a ball.
Fishing 101: "Okay, honey, so try not to get your line hopelessly tangled in tree branches like Daddy keeps doing." Priya's interest in fishing lasted, oh, about 5 minutes. Trevor wasn't far behind.
The gang gathers for some grub.
"Mommy, we promise we'll only get our feet wet if you let us play in the river! Promise!"
As hard as I try to capture spontaneous, un-posed photos...Priya always seems to catch me, turn her head towards me and smile. She's been trained, I guess. Besides, I never tire of seeing that grin.

Love that last one of Priya! The sunlight is glowing in the water framing her beautifully.
