Aunt Kristin

We had an extra-special treat this weekend...my younger sister came to visit us from Boise, Idaho. She flew down by herself, leaving my beautiful nephew and niece in the capable hands of their daddy (who even took them HIKING and on a PICNIC in Mommy's absence! Impressive, Russell!!!).

I got to spend time with my mom and sister shopping in the oh-so-fun towns of Boerne and Fredericksburg, and the kids were so thrilled to have Aunt Kristin to themselves. It was a fun weekend, and it passed by too quickly.

Always the mommy...Kristin reads to the kids while they wait for swim lessons to begin.

All three little Indians were thrilled to see their Aunt Kristin...but there was a special bond between Deven and his aunt throughout the weekend. Kristin claims it's because they're both middle children. I think she may be right.

Mom (a.k.a. Mimi) and her girls.

Never immune to any playful ribbing, Dad stands patiently (with a scowl on his face) while Mom and Kristin locate the very few gray hairs he has popping up on his head.

We had such a great visit with you, Aunt Kristin, and we miss you, Russell, Noah, & Sydney very much. We wish you lived closer. Idaho is just a tad too cold for us to consider moving...no matter how wonderful those potatoes claim to be. Have a wonderful 33rd birthday on Friday! We love you!
